Strengthen the Arm of Liberty

This copper Statue of Liberty replica, about eight feet tall, is one of roughly two hundred placed across the country by the Boy Scouts of America. The campaign, called Strengthen the Arm of Liberty, marked the Scouts' fortieth anniversary in nineteen fiftyand was launched the year before.
This one went up through a joint effort by local Boy Scouts and civic clubs.
She faces north toward the Pine Bluff Civic Center, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in the year two thousand.
