The World's Largest Fountain Drink Cup

Missouri

Standing about fifteen feet tall beside the road in Cape Girardeau is a genuine Guinness World Record holder, the largest cup of soft drink ever made.

On the twentieth of August in two thousand seventeen, a local convenience store chain called Rhodes filled this giant cup with four thousand seven hundred thirty gallons of lemonade. It took roughly eight people just under three hours to fill it. The Guinness judges measured nearly eighteen thousand liters, the equivalent of more than six hundred thousand regular size cups, shattering the previous record of about three thousand two hundred gallons.

The lemonade was handed out to the public right after the record was certified. The enormous cup never left town. It still stands here as a roadside landmark, a monument to the very American art of supersizing absolutely everything.
