Stacy, Minnesota
Minnesota
Stacy is a small city in Chisago County, tucked into a stretch of Minnesota where the county name itself comes from the Ojibwe phrase Ki-Chi-Saga, meaning fair and lovely lakes. The town was laid out in eighteen seventy-five and named for Doctor Stacy Budd Collins, one of the earliest settlers in the area. In nineteen twenty-three, Stacy formally incorporated as a city. It sits just west of Interstate Thirty-Five today, a small farm-country town north of the Twin Cities.
